Marine Servicenter and Fraser Yacht Sales Receive Joint Award at Worldwide Lagoon Dealer Meeting!

7/12/2012

Last week LAGOON INSIDE, Catamaran Sailor Blog posted the following:

“BUSY WEEK!
I am posting this article while in the middle of our worldwide Lagoon dealers meeting, organized during 2 days in Margaux, a famous place in France for its wine. 76 dealers from 47 countries are attending this meeting to prepare the 2013 season and talk about all the surprises that we have concocted for you. So keep connected…”

Kevin Prichard from Fraser Yacht Sales (http://www.fraseryachtsales.com/) and Dan Krier from Marine Servicenter (http://www.marinesc.com/) were at that meeting along with Dan's wife Lisa. Among the surprises was the presentation of the “Prix Lagoon 2012 – Best Owner Event” awarded to both Fraser Yacht Sales, from Vancouver, British Columbia and Marine Servicenter of Seattle & Anacortes in Washington State.

Fraser Yachts Sales “Entertainment Team” consisting of Ian Fraser, Kevin Prichard, Scott Macdonald and Natasha Wright, have a long history of organizing events together with the team at Marine Servicenter consisting of Jim Rard, Dan Krier & Jeff Carson. The two companies have been organizing, very successful, combined territory (Pacific Northwest) Rendezvous for Jeanneau owners for the last 12 years continuously. It would appear that the lessons learned have paid valuable dividends, since the first ever Lagoon Rendezvous in these spectacular waters walked away with this prestigious world-wide award.

While the “upper 40s” degrees of latitude don’t bless us with the warmest climate or water, the swim ware often gets substituted by fleece and raingear, the cruising water, bays, fjords, coves, inlets, passages and scenery are unsurpassed. With evergreen forests dropping down sheer cliff sides right down to the water level and marine life ranging from shrimp, ever popular Dungeness crab, seals, sea lions, otters all the way up the food chain to orcas and whales, the Pacific Northwest is a destination that should at the very least be considered by all serious cruisers.
