Check Out All That Is New & Improved @ 700 28th St Anacortes

Our new facility has been open for a little while now, and we are getting the hang of the new location. Be sure to stop by and say hello to our outstanding crew at the yard, but don't forget to stop by the new location and check out all the new options and features we have to offer with the retail store, demo room, Ullman sail loft in house, small boat center AND a huge new storage facility with both outside and heated indoor storage options for you to entertain.

Regardless of your boating needs, we strive to be your one-stop-boating-shop in Anacortes.

2013 Jeanneau Rendezvous pictures on line

The 13th Annual Can/Am Jeanneau Rendezvous is in the history books, and it was a magnificent event. A HUGE "Thank You" to all the boats, skippers and crew who joined us for the fun in the sun on the Summer Solstice (Summer Sailstice), and of course to all the gracious and generous sponsors without whom these events would not be possible!

The fist set of pictures are all complements of Jeanneau America, more specifically Paul Fenn and Valerie Toomey, who joined us for this years event.

Foresails

14 June 2013 Posted by Alex from Lagoon under Technical world

The range of foresails on a modern boat has really developed over the past 20 years. The concept of “foresail” may be a bit complex for sailors to understand nowadays. My purpose here is just to give you a few “tips” in order to help you to make the right choice.

The main criteria for defining a foresail are:

- the angle of use with regard to the wind,

- its operating range depending on the strength of the wind.
